Attitude makes all the difference in the world. This story is a great example.

A traveler once passed a stone quarry and saw three men working. He asked each man what he was doing.

Each man’s answer revealed a different attitude toward the same job.

“I’m cutting stone,” the first man answered.

The second replied, “I’m earning three gold pieces per day.”

The third man smiled and said, “I am helping to build a house of God.”

The moral of the story being: Remember your attitude determines your altitude.

This story is perfect to include with any lesson on work, whether at home or at church. The perfect song to go along with this story is Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel. Check out two great videos of this song by clicking HERE.
