For Those Who Are On a Budget

 

There are a lot of products and services out there to not only help you survive but thrive online. Some of them can get pretty expensive, while others work great and are perfect for those of us on a budget.

The following are some of my favorite products and services that I use daily to run my blog. Products and services that are free or inexpensive.

HOSTING : Blue Host

I’ve been very pleased with Blue Host. They have great 24/7 Support, 1-click WordPress Install, Free Domain AND if you click HERE you can get Blue Host for as little as $3.95 a month. 

 

TECH SUPPORT: MOJO Marketplace

MOJO has been a HUGE help in my blogging journey – I don’t know if I would still be here if it wasn’t for them. They are my go-to for tech support. I pay a small monthly fee for their service but it is worth every penny!  

 

EMAIL: ConvertKit

There are many email services out there. The first one I started with was MailChimp and it was good for just starting out, especially since it’s FREE. But then when my email list started to really grow, I needed something more and moved over to  ConvertKit and I love it! My favorite part about it? It is super easy to use! Not to mention all the great extra, easy-to-use features! It’s very affordable as well.  

 

SOCIAL MEDIA SCHEDULER: Tailwind

Tailwind has been an absolute time-saver! Tailwind schedules your Pinterest and Instagram posts for you at the most optimized times based on when your audience is most engaged. One of the best marketing tools out there! They also have Tailwind Tribes that you can join. (Tribes are other people in your same niche, sharing each other’s posts -no more trying to join Pinterest boards!)

 

DESIGN & EDITING: PicMonkey

I have been a paid subscriber to PICMONKEY for years, even before I started blogging. They are super user-friendly and you are able to do some amazing things with your images.

 

STOCK PHOTOS: Pixabay

I love Pixabay for their FREE stock photos that are amazing! They are my first “Go-To” when searching for images.

 

BACK PAIN: Grey Mare Lumbar Pillow

When working at a computer all day, my back is famous for its aches and pains. This has become my “Go-To” pillow to relieve and prevent my back pain. It’s even chiropractor recommended! Once you start using one, you’ll never be able to live without it! 😉
