Does anyone here like to talk on the phone?

Do any of you send text messages, emails or Skype?

How many of your parents have cell phones?

Do they get upset if they lose their phones?

Do they get upset if the battery dies and they can’t charge it?

Having cell phones allow us to talk to other people whenever we want.

Do we have to have a cell phone to talk to Heavenly Father?

NO

**SET THE CELL PHONE DOWN**

In the scriptures, we are taught that we can pray to our Heavenly Father anytime or anywhere.

President Boyd K. Packer said that no message appears in the scriptures more times than to “Ask, and ye shall receive.”

We never have to worry about losing our cell phones or having a dead battery when we pray to God. He listens to our prayers where ever we are.

God loves us and wants us to talk to Him.primary talk on prayer, easy primary talks, object lessons, lds lesson helps, prayer, pray, praying anytime anywhere, no cell phone required

**HOLD UP THE WORD “TALK”**

TALK stands for

T: TAKE the TIME to Pray

A: Ahhhh…A Quiet Place

L: LEARN from the scriptures

K: KEEP a Prayer in your heart

I like to bear my testimony…
