One of the hardest lessons in life is learning to embrace the storms and realize that it is through our trials that we grow the most. I know many times in life I find myself thinking, “Well as soon as this is over, then I’ll be happy and enjoy life.” And that may be true for a little while. The thing about life is, as soon as we make it through one trial, another one never seems to be too far behind. Oh how important it is to find “Joy in the Journey”.

Without rain nothing grows,

learn to embrace the storms in your life.

This quote was used in Episode 10: The Calm in the Storm of my new podcast Teach Me to Walk in the Light. Each podcast episode I teach a gospel principle that goes along with the Come Follow Me reading assignment and then I share with you how you can teach it to your family in FHE.
