Watch this video where Tim Ballard talks about having faith to accomplish something scary. In so doing, he is able to rescue many children from slavery. Because of his faith, many children are able to escape the evil situation that they are in and find hope and happiness.

How important it is to act on faith and to fulfill our purpose in life no matter how scary it may seem. The Lord uses each of us in His divine work of bringing souls unto Him that they may receive eternal life. Satan wants us to be scared so that we won’t help others escape the chains that he has on them.

Just as the children in this video were snatched by evil and subjected to slavery, many people today find themselves victims of slavery in a spiritual sense. They fall victim to Satan when they become a slave to sin. Just as the children in this video found hope and happiness once they were set free, those who are a slave to sin can also find hope and happiness once they break the chains of sin and are no longer held captive by the master of sin. This is only done through faith in our Savior Jesus Christ.

In John 8:34-36 Jesus taught:

…Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Through the Savior, those who are a slave to sin can go from being victim to survivor to conqueror just as these children did. The contrast that they will feel when going from captivity to freedom will fill their whole souls with hope and happiness that they have never experienced before.
